PostDoctoral Researcher

About me...

I am a postdoctoral researcher interested in the fields of molecular evolution and phylogenetics. My lines of research focus on the evolutionary analysis of genetic data at the molecular level. In addition, I also cover areas such as molecular biology, biochemistry or ecology. In combination with my knowledge in bioinformatics and data analysis (programming languages like R or Perl), I have experience working in multidisciplinary research teams with expertise in organometallics and coordination chemistry.

I concluded my PhD by publishing studies related to the analysis of selective pressure (dN/dS), the creation and optimization of evolutionary substitution models and the reconstruction of ancestral sequences in viruses. Currently, my work is focused on the evolutionary study of chemical communication in Madagascar frogs.
